HISTORY OF DANDOY

CLASSIC BISCUITS

HISTORY:

Established by the young baker Jean-BaptisteDandoy, Dandoy Biscuiterie was created in a traditional 17th century house in the centre of Brussels, as pictured above, and still exists today.

Dandoy Biscuiterie survived the economic downturn of World War II through the use of food rationing tickets, whose biscuits were the only government approved flour confectionary product.

Over six generations, Dandoy biscuits have eternalized artisan craftsmanship through the use of the highest quality ingredients, thereby ensuring the best tastes. Many of their traditional biscuits are still crafted based on the treasured original recipes, and these recipes have inspired the creation of new specialty flavors.

Dandoy has become a symbol of refinement and luxury across the world.

Dandoy's very own biscuits can now be enjoyed in the United States.  Based in New York City, Borne Confections carries a variety of Dandoy's unforgettable products, introducing everyone to experience the taste of these traditional and artisanal confections.
